For this customer story, the agency brought us in as the production and post-production partner to turn a business transformation script into a clear, polished on-screen story.

The film focused on how Palfinger moved from fragmented project management tools and individual spreadsheets to a connected Smartsheet-based PMO solution.

The Challenge

The story was business-heavy: project transparency, automation, portfolio visibility, sensitive data, resource management and 450+ active projects.

The challenge was to make this transformation clear and watchable in a short customer story — within one on-site filming day and with a compact crew.

Our Role

We handled visual development, one day of on-site filming, and post-production.

Before the shoot, our director adapted the visual part of the script into a realistic filming plan. The goal was to build a visual line that could be achieved within the available time, while still serving both the story and the aesthetics of the film.

Production Approach

The project was filmed by a small team: director and camera operator.

This made timing critical. Every scene had to be planned with the final edit in mind: interview, office work, collaboration, project management moments, details and visual transitions.

Because we were also responsible for post-production, the shoot was approached not only as coverage, but as material for a fast, polished and proof-driven story.

The result was a strong amount of technically clean and visually useful footage from a short production window — something that is difficult to achieve with a small crew unless the shoot is directed with the edit in mind.

The agency received a complete production and post-production delivery from one filming day.

The final film turned a complex PMO transformation into a clear customer story: fragmented tools and manual updates replaced by connected workflows, better transparency and a scalable project management system.
